1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CompliVault's GRC platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
CompliVault provides a cloud-based Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform that helps organizations manage compliance standards, evidence collection, risk assessment, and audit preparation.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account
4. Subscription and Payments
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Upload malicious code or content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
6. Intellectual Property
CompliVault retains all rights to the Service, including all software, designs, and content. You retain ownership of all data and content you upload to the platform.
7. Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws including GDPR and India's DPDP Act.
8. Limitation of Liability
CompliVault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings.
10. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
